Privacy Policy

This policy is provided by ChairAutopilot LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("ChairAutopilot", "we"). If you have signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement prevails. Otherwise, where a product has its own section on this page, that section governs that product and prevails over the general policy if they differ. This page describes what information ChairAutopilot collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. We keep this straightforward.

Information we collect

We collect information when you interact with our website or services. This includes:

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, salon name, phone number (optional), and the message you send.
  • Demo booking — name, email address, and the appointment time you select through our scheduling tool.
  • Website usage — pages visited, time spent, referring pages, and general device or browser information collected through analytics tools.
  • Communications — any emails or messages you send to us directly.

We do not collect payment information directly. If payments are processed, they are handled by a third-party payment provider under their own privacy practices.

How we use information

Information collected is used only to run and improve the service:

  • Responding to questions and contact form submissions.
  • Scheduling and managing demos.
  • Communicating service-related updates where relevant.
  • Understanding how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
  • Preventing abuse or misuse of our services.

We may email you about a purchase, sign-up or inquiry you made, including offers related to it. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link where provided, or by emailing hello@chairautopilot.com. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have agreed to receive them.

We may also contact businesses using business contact details that are publicly available, such as on a business's website or Google profile. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We use the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance, which shares data with Meta.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the business. These may include:

  • Scheduling and booking tools (e.g., our calendar platform for demos).
  • Email delivery services used to respond to inquiries.
  • Website analytics providers.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Our internal alert service (Telegram), which notifies our team about orders, sign-ups and bookings and can include your name, email address and phone number.

Service providers process information on our behalf to run our services. Some of them, such as Meta and Google, also process the information they receive under their own privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect the rights and safety of ChairAutopilot, its users, or others.

Some of our booking pages offer additional features such as Try-On photo previews, and the handling of that data, including any third-party AI image processors involved, is described in each salon's own booking-page privacy notice.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies. Services that receive data from our site include: Meta (Pixel and Conversions API), to measure our ads, which can receive your IP address, browser details, Meta cookie IDs and other identifiers, and, when you submit a form or make a purchase, your email address and phone number in hashed form; Google Analytics, to understand how our site is used; Google Fonts and embedded video players (YouTube, Bunny), which receive your IP address when they load; and a location service (ipapi.co) used on some pages to detect your country. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required for reasonable business or legal purposes. We do not retain personal data indefinitely.

If you would like information about us removed, you can contact us and we will handle your request promptly.

Your choices

You have control over the information you share with us:

  • You can request that we update or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
  • You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by replying to any message we send or by contacting us directly.
  • You can limit cookie collection through your browser settings.

We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Questions about privacy

If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, you can reach us at:

hello@chairautopilot.com

You can also use the contact page to send us a message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

Google Business Profile Checkup and Plan

What we collect

When you use the Checkup, we collect and store:

  • What you enter in the checkup form: your salon's name, country, city and (in the US) state, then your first name, your last name if you give it, and your email address. We keep this even if you don't buy.
  • Your salon's Google Business Profile, and the categories you choose.
  • Your order and payment status. Your card details stay with Stripe; we keep only the card brand and last four digits, so you can add the monthly plan in one click.
  • How you reached us: the UTM parameters and Meta click ID in the link you followed, and Meta cookie IDs.
  • Technical data: your IP address, your browser details, and a visitor ID cookie.
  • Records of the emails we send you, and your unsubscribe choice.
  • Your text message choice: whether you ticked the box asking for marketing texts, the wording you saw, and when you ticked or unticked it.

Stripe's checkout page also asks for your phone number. We store the phone number you give there with your order, and we pass it to Meta only in hashed form, to measure our ads.

If you tell us you don't have a Google Business Profile, we collect your first name, email address and location so we can get back to you. On that form we also ask for your phone number. We store it with your request and use it to contact you about setting up your Google profile.

Payments

Stripe processes all payments. We never see or store your card number.

Why we collect it

To deliver your report and to support your order. We use your email and the phone number you give at checkout to contact you about your order. We send you marketing text messages only if you ticked the box that asks for them.

Who we share it with

We share data with the outside services that run this business: Stripe (payments), Meta (measuring how our ads perform), Google (looking up your salon and its public profile data), our email provider (sending you your report), our email hosting provider (messages and photos you send us), DataForSEO (search ranking data, using a keyword and map coordinates only), our internal alert service (Telegram), which notifies our team about orders, sign-ups and bookings and can include your name, email address and phone number, and AI providers (Anthropic, OpenRouter) that help write your report from your business's public information, including public reviews.

We don't sell your personal information.

Cookies and pixels

We use the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads are performing.

Text messages

We send marketing text messages (SMS and WhatsApp) only if you ticked the box on the checkup page that asks for them. Ticking it is never a condition of buying. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Data retention

We keep order records as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes, and delete the rest on request.

Accessing or deleting your data

Email hello@chairautopilot.com anytime to ask what we have on file about you, or to have it deleted.

About the $29 Checkup specifically

It only uses information that's already public on your Google profile. We never ask for or need access to your Google account to run it.

Who can use this service

This service is for businesses and people 18 or older.

If you subscribe to the $99/month plan

To improve your profile, you give our team Manager access to your Google Business Profile. Our team includes contractors who work under confidentiality obligations. We use that access only to make the improvements described in your plan, and we keep a record of the changes we make. You can remove our access at any time in your Google Business Profile settings. Photos and information you send us are used only to update your profile, where they appear publicly on Google as intended, and are not shared with anyone else except the service providers listed above. Ranking scans for your plan use public search data only.
